Use Guiyang as the arrival and departure base for a private day trip, a two-day nature-and-village break or a five-day regional journey. Huangguoshu, Libo, Zhijin and the Miao and Dong villages are separate touring areas outside the city; compare the driving stages and overnight stops before choosing.
Choose by your available days
- One free day, keeping your Guiyang hotel: Huangguoshu waterfall day, Qingyan, Tianhetan and Yelang Valley day or Zhijin Cave and Grand Canyon day. Choose the main experience rather than combining these separate outings into one day.
- Two days and one night: Two-day Libo Xiaoqikong and Zhaoxing journey. The selected hotel is in the Liping or Zhaoxing area; village-centre accommodation is not automatic.
- Five days and four nights: Five-day Huangguoshu, Libo and Xijiang journey for waterfalls, forest pools and a Xijiang night, or Five-day Miao and Dong villages with batik for more village settings and batik.

Send the exact Guiyang hotel address, arrival time and departure station or airport. Each route has its own pickup terms. The two-day Libo and Zhaoxing base uses pickup within Guiyang’s second ring and a designated Yunyan city drop-off; an airport, station or different endpoint needs a separate arrangement.
Waterfall paths, stone streets and forest walks can involve steps and slippery surfaces. Discuss walking limits, suitcases and room access before choosing a village overnight.
