Overview
Combine Huangguoshu’s waterfall scenery with the limestone chambers of Zhijin Cave on a two-day private journey from Guiyang. Stay one night in Anshun between the visits. The base includes a private vehicle, Chinese-speaking driver, one hotel night and one adult breakfast. Attraction admission and scenic transport are separate costs.
Choose this route for two contrasting natural settings without adding a village overnight or a longer regional circuit. Sightseeing inside each attraction is independent: the driver handles road travel and meeting arrangements, rather than providing a guided cave or waterfall commentary. English interpretation and an accompanying guide are separate requests.

Why combine the waterfall and cave?
Huangguoshu is the outdoor day: waterfall views, vegetation and paths between the selected visitor areas. The listed itinerary covers Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and the main waterfall area, with the route adapted to the open paths and your walking pace. Visiting every path is not a condition of enjoying the day. Discuss the longer walking sections before admission is arranged.
Zhijin is the underground day, following the developed visitor route among illuminated limestone formations. It is a cave visit rather than a separate Grand Canyon programme. The change in setting is the reason to keep the overnight between the two visits, rather than trying to fit both into a single outing.

Tickets and the Water Curtain Cave
Huangguoshu admission, Zhijin Cave admission and scenic sightseeing transport are outside this base arrangement. Ask for the admission and ride costs to be itemised in your proposal. A private road vehicle does not replace transport within an attraction, and a scheduled visit does not mean its entrance ticket is included.
The Water Curtain Cave behind the main waterfall has a separate timed reservation process. A general Huangguoshu ticket does not guarantee a place. The scenic area’s notice directs visitors to its official Anlvtong reservation channel, with places subject to availability. Share your travel-document details through the agreed booking process so the appropriate reservation method can be established.
Do not make a walk behind the waterfall the deciding promise of the trip. When that path is unavailable, use the open viewing areas agreed for your visit. Access can also change with local operating conditions. Scenic tickets, a Water Curtain Cave slot and any paid transport should be distinguished in the written booking details.

Pickup, the hotel and your final connection
Selected pickup addresses are available in Guiyang’s Yunyan, Huaxi, Baiyun, Nanming, Wudang and Guanshanhu districts. The listed airport and railway points are Longdongbao Airport and Guiyang, Guiyang North, Guiyang East and Longdongbao stations. Send the exact address or arrival service before choosing the meeting arrangement.
A pickup point being available does not mean every arrival time fits day one. For a full waterfall day, staying in Guiyang the previous night may be easier than arriving that morning. Your vehicle and luggage arrangement should reflect the actual party and bags; no particular model or passenger capacity is promised on this page.
The overnight is in Anshun. The written proposal identifies the hotel and room type; location, room access and quiet-room preferences are worth discussing for older travellers and light sleepers. A platform hotel category is not an international star rating. The final day returns to Guiyang after the cave visit. Agree your onward flight or train before fixing the itinerary, and avoid an early departure that shortens the visit.
Walking, children and food needs
Both days involve walking. Waterfall paths can be wet, and the cave visitor route includes steps. Wear shoes with grip and describe balance, knee, wheelchair or pushchair needs before booking. Share which paths matter most so the visit and meeting points can suit your group. Road transport alone does not make the attractions step-free.
The listed child band is age two to under twelve; the adult band begins at twelve. The base child arrangement shares an adult bed and excludes meals. A party with one adult and one child needs a separate room or bed arrangement in the booking. Send every child’s age and sleeping requirements, and ask about younger children before selecting the programme. Travellers under eighteen require an accompanying adult.
Lunches and dinner are independent choices. Halal food, allergies and prayer needs should be discussed in advance; the hotel breakfast is not represented as halal-certified. Carry the original travel document used for admission and accommodation. Nationality and document type help establish the actual ticket and hotel procedures; no passport copy is required for the first enquiry.
Add an arrival night before the waterfall day
If your flight or train reaches Guiyang too late for a full waterfall visit, arrive the previous day and keep the two touring days above intact. This creates a three-day, two-night travel window: one Guiyang arrival night, followed by the included Anshun night between Huangguoshu and Zhijin Cave.

Compare the written room and ticket lists rather than just the headline number of days. Adding the Guiyang night does not turn the base into a ticket-inclusive package, add English guiding or reserve the Water Curtain Cave. The two-day arrangement on this page continues to separate admission and scenic transport from the vehicle-and-hotel base.
If the last return does not fit your onward service comfortably, request a final Guiyang night as well. That is another accommodation and transfer arrangement, with breakfast depending on the selected room terms. Send both arrival and departure service details, room preferences and children’s ages before choosing which nights to add. A list of available pickup points is not a promise that every arrival or departure time works with the sightseeing programme.

Daily Itinerary
Meet the Chinese-speaking driver at the agreed Guiyang point and travel to Huangguoshu. Explore the selected Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and main waterfall visitor areas, using the open paths at your group’s pace. Agree the return meeting point before entering. Water Curtain Cave access needs its own reservation and is not guaranteed.
Admission, scenic transport and meals are separate. After the visit, continue to the selected Anshun hotel for the included overnight. The driver provides road travel rather than a sightseeing commentary.
Adults have the included hotel breakfast; child breakfast is separate. Travel to Zhijin Cave and follow the developed visitor route among the illuminated formations. Admission and scenic transport remain separate costs, as do lunch and other personal expenses. No Grand Canyon visit is included in this programme.
Return to the agreed Guiyang drop-off after the cave visit. Selected airport or railway returns can be arranged when they fit the written programme. Fix your onward travel around the actual return arrangement; an evening city visit is independent time, not another included excursion.
