Overview
Combine Huangguoshu’s waterfall scenery and Xiaoqikong’s pools and forest paths in two touring days from Guiyang. The one accommodation night is in Libo: after Huangguoshu on day one, you continue by road to Libo rather than returning to Guiyang or staying in Anshun.
This compact private itinerary includes two dedicated vehicle days with a Chinese-speaking driver, one selected Libo hotel night and one adult breakfast. Attraction admission and scenic transport are separate. Choose it when you can manage a long first day and want these two nature areas without adding a Xijiang village visit.

Is the compact route right for you?
The first day combines a major scenic visit with another substantial road stage. It suits travellers who prioritise covering both nature areas over a late start, long hotel break or unhurried afternoon. A private vehicle lets your party agree the sequence and breaks, but it cannot remove the distance between Huangguoshu and Libo.
For waterfall and cave scenery with a different overnight pattern, compare the two-day Huangguoshu and Zhijin Cave route. If Xiaoqikong and a village night matter more than Huangguoshu, consider the two-day Xiaoqikong and Xijiang programme. The five-day classic circuit adds arrival and departure space and the village stage.
Huangguoshu before the onward drive
Start from the agreed Guiyang pickup and visit the operating Huangguoshu areas. Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and the main waterfall setting form the planned sightseeing sequence, subject to the routes available that day. Their walking paths and internal transport are different parts of the visit.
Admission, scenic buses and optional escalators are outside this base. Ask to have the required tickets identified in the proposal, including whether an extra escalator is wanted. A scenic bus or lift does not eliminate all wet paths and steps. Water Curtain Cave access is not guaranteed by choosing this itinerary.
Continue to Libo after the visit and check in at the selected hotel. Avoid treating the evening as another included outing. Meals other than the following adult breakfast are separate, and the exact hotel and room category are agreed for your dates.
Xiaoqikong and the Guiyang return
After adult breakfast, visit Xiaoqikong’s open water-and-forest visitor routes. Choose the walking sections around your party’s stamina and the planned return journey. Boats, extra activities and scenic transport need their own arrangement; the named pools and paths do not establish that every section will be open.
The second day finishes with a road transfer back to the agreed Guiyang drop-off. Send the exact airport or railway service before buying an onward connection. The sample timetable is not a guaranteed road arrival, especially after a long scenic visit or poor weather.

Children, luggage and a more comfortable pace
The adult band begins at twelve and the child band is two to under twelve. The usual child base shares an adult bed and does not include meals. One adult and one child require a separate room-occupancy arrangement, while any extra bed or three-person room must be requested before the hotel is fixed. Guests under eighteen need an adult companion.
Tell us about children’s ages, walking limits and large luggage before choosing the vehicle and daily walks. Waterfall and forest paths may be damp or uneven. A private route does not automatically provide a pushchair-friendly or wheelchair-accessible journey.
If this combination feels too demanding, request another touring day or fewer walking sections before booking. If weather or an operating closure affects the route, agree a suitable alternative and cost change; an unlisted attraction or activity is not automatically included.
Arrange your party and departure

Have the included adult breakfast, visit selected open Xiaoqikong paths and leave time for the road return to Guiyang. Admission, internal transport, boats, other meals and child meals are separate. Agree the final drop-off and any flight or train connection before booking.
