Overview
See Huangguoshu and Xiaoqikong before travelling through Basha, Zhaoxing and Xijiang. This seven-day private Guizhou circuit joins major nature visits to both Miao and Dong village settings, with six nights and five touring days between arrival and departure days.
Sleep in Guiyang, Anshun, Libo, Zhaoxing, Xijiang and Guiyang in that order. The two village nights are separate: the programme stays inside Zhaoxing and inside Xijiang, rather than visiting both from one city hotel. The base includes a Chinese-speaking driver, private road travel, six accommodation nights, six adult breakfasts and listed adult main visits. English guiding is separate.
The cover is a regional travel illustration, not a photograph of a named viewpoint, booked hotel or actual trip.

Who benefits from the longer loop?
Choose this route if you want the contrast between natural scenery and more than one village setting, and can manage frequent hotel changes. It adds Basha and a Zhaoxing night to a Huangguoshu, Libo and Xijiang journey. It is not just the classic five-day route with spare arrival days attached.
For a shorter first visit centred on the major nature stops and Xijiang, compare the five-day classic route. For more cultural emphasis and a different village sequence, compare the five-day Miao and Dong village programme. Their craft activities and overnight locations should be compared individually, not assumed to match this tour.
Nature first: Huangguoshu and Xiaoqikong
After the Guiyang arrival night, use day two for the open Huangguoshu areas and stay in Anshun. The specified scenic transport is included; steps, wet surfaces and walking remain. Water Curtain Cave has its own access arrangements and is not guaranteed by a general park admission.
Day three continues to Xiaoqikong, then the Libo hotel. Let the pool, bridge, forest and cascade sections fit your walking pace. A scenic shuttle reduces some travel within the visitor area but does not establish a continuous step-free route. Extra boats and unlisted activities need their own time and cost arrangement.
Basha and the Zhaoxing night
Day four travels from Libo to Basha, then on to Zhaoxing. Basha is a Miao village visit; Zhaoxing provides a Dong-village setting, with timber buildings and drum-tower areas. These are living communities as well as visitor destinations. Ask permission for portraits and private-home access, and follow the local rules for any public cultural presentation.
The base does not promise a private ceremony, a weapons demonstration, a hosted family meal or an exclusive performance. Staying inside Zhaoxing leaves an evening in the village, but the specific property and room still need to suit your walking and luggage needs. Carry a manageable overnight bag; the private road vehicle cannot reach every village doorway.
Xijiang and a single Kaili-area choice
On day five, travel to Xijiang for its public lanes, hillside setting and the included village accommodation night. The following morning leaves more village time before the return west. Public performances, where operating, follow the venue’s actual programme; no private show, costume hire, craft class or food tasting is promised in this base.
Day six then makes one agreed stop in the Kaili area before the final Guiyang night. Listed possibilities include Xiasi Ancient Town, Longquan Mountain, Hongyang Miao Village or Jidao Miao Village. These are alternatives, not a list to visit in one afternoon. Choose the stop before the programme is fixed so that its walking, opening and road requirements fit.
Included base and separate requests
| Item | Included base | Separate or conditional |
|---|---|---|
| Transport | Private vehicle and Chinese-speaking driver for the agreed circuit; selected destination transfers | English guide, sightseeing interpretation, extra detours and free-time transport |
| Rooms and meals | Six selected nights on adult twin-share terms; six adult breakfasts | Specific room and bed selection, other adult meals, all child meals and drinks |
| Visits | Listed adult main admission and the specified Huangguoshu, Xiaoqikong, Basha and Xijiang scenic transport | Child attraction admission, extra paid activities, boats, lifts and unlisted visits |
Practical fit: children, luggage and the final flight
The adult band starts at twelve; the child band is from two to under twelve. Child meals and attraction tickets are separate, with the base sharing an adult bed. One adult with one child needs an appropriate room or bed arrangement. The listed programme does not accept children under two, and travellers under eighteen need an adult companion. Do not assume a third adult can receive an extra bed or breakfast without a separate arrangement.
This route changes overnight base after each touring day. Tell us about large cases, slow walking, knee or balance concerns, wheelchairs and pushchairs before hotels and paths are chosen. Village slopes, damp steps and the approach from shuttle stops can matter more than a hotel’s general category.
Arrival and departure transfers use the agreed Guiyang service details. The programme returns to Guiyang for night six, leaving departure on day seven. If the party wants an earlier finish or fewer hotel changes, revise the route before booking rather than compressing several village visits into the last drive.
Rain, road disruption or attraction closures can change usable paths and visits. Agree any available substitute and cost adjustment before replacing a stop. No particular waterfall volume, terrace colour or performance schedule is guaranteed.
Plan your dates and onward travel
Send dates, party size, children’s ages, room preferences, large-case count, flight or train details, walking limits and language requirements through Plan My Trip. Include food allergies, halal requirements and prayer breaks. An ordinary hotel breakfast is not represented as halal-certified, and English guiding is a separate service to request.
Bring the original travel document matching hotel and admission bookings. Nationality and document type help arrange the appropriate registration; passport copies are not needed for the initial enquiry. Your proposal will state the selected hotels, pickup, return, tickets and other expenses. Price on request.
Explore Guiyang as the gateway, compare the Guizhou private tour collection and browse city and sightseeing journeys or cultural routes.
Plan the practical details
Use Guizhou itinerary and regional choices, Huangguoshu walking and cave reservations, Xiaoqikong entrances and Libo stays, Xijiang overnight, rooms and luggage to match the route with your walking, hotel and transfer needs.
