Overview

Explore western and southwestern Guizhou through Zhijin Cave, Wumeng Grassland, Wanfenglin, Malinghe Gorge and Huangguoshu. This six-day private circuit starts and finishes in Guiyang, with four touring days between arrival and departure days and five accommodation nights.

The overnight sequence is Guiyang, Liupanshui, Xingyi, Anshun and Guiyang. Choose this journey for caves, open uplands, limestone hills, gorge paths and waterfall scenery. It does not include Libo, Xijiang or an eastern Guizhou village circuit. The base has a Chinese-speaking driver, four dedicated touring days, selected transfers, five nights and five adult breakfasts.

The cover is a regional travel illustration, not a photograph of a named viewpoint, booked hotel or actual trip.

The six-day circuit

Day Programme Overnight
1 Selected Guiyang arrival transfer; independent time Guiyang
2 Zhijin Cave; continue to Liupanshui Liupanshui
3 Wumeng Grassland and Wanfenglin Xingyi
4 Malinghe Gorge; continue to Anshun Anshun
5 Huangguoshu areas, including Tianxingqiao and Doupotang where open; return to Guiyang Guiyang
6 Selected departure transfer None

Choose landscapes over the village circuit

This route suits travellers who want varied landforms and can manage several walking days and hotel changes. The Xingyi stage is a substantive part of the trip, rather than a stop added to a Libo journey. Day three combines the upland visit with Wanfenglin and an onward hotel check-in, so it is not a full day devoted to either site.

If the main priority is Xiaoqikong and a Xijiang night, compare the classic five-day Guizhou route. If you only want a short waterfall-and-cave break, choose the two-day Huangguoshu and Zhijin programme, whose ticket scope differs from this circuit.

Zhijin Cave before the upland stage

Day two visits Zhijin Cave and then continues to Liupanshui. Use the open visitor route; cave paths, steps, humidity and the walk through the chambers affect pace. The included local transport covers the specified transfer stage rather than providing a vehicle inside every part of the cave.

Send walking and accessibility needs before the trip is fixed. A shorter surface visit is not automatically an equivalent substitute for the scheduled cave tour. If an indoor walk is unsuitable, ask for a different programme while the itinerary can still be revised.

Wumeng Grassland and Wanfenglin

Day three starts with the open upland visitor area at Wumeng, then continues toward Xingyi for Wanfenglin’s limestone-hill landscape. Specified sightseeing transport is included at both sites. A grassland visit does not promise a flower display, a cloud inversion, a horse ride or a particular view of wind turbines.

Carry a layer for exposed upland conditions and rain protection suited to the day’s weather. The itinerary follows visitor areas and operating transport, not unrestricted access to farm roads or closed ridges. Wanfenglin time should fit the final road stage and hotel check-in rather than turning into an unplanned evening detour.

Malinghe and Huangguoshu on separate days

Day four visits Malinghe Gorge before continuing to Anshun. The listed round-trip sightseeing elevator is included, but the gorge still has walking surfaces and steps. Discuss balance, knee and stamina concerns before choosing the full path; a lift alone does not establish step-free access.

Day five uses the operating Huangguoshu visitor areas, with Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and the main waterfall area in the planned sequence. The listed route allocates substantial walking in Tianxingqiao, including its upper and lower sections where open. Request a shorter plan beforehand if that is too demanding.

Huangguoshu scenic buses are included; an extra escalator or unlisted paid activity needs its own arrangement. Water Curtain Cave entry and a particular waterfall flow are not guaranteed. Return to Guiyang for the final night, leaving the departure transfer to day six.

Accommodation and meals Five selected hotel nights; five adult breakfasts Exact room and child bed entitlement follows selected property; other adult meals, child meals and drinks

Party requirements and room planning

This particular programme does not accept pregnant guests or children under two. These are the programme’s booking restrictions, not a general claim about who may travel in Guizhou. The adult band begins at twelve, with a child band from two to under twelve; travellers under eighteen need an adult companion.

Send the chosen room occupancy and children’s ages before hotels are selected. Child beds and breakfast depend on the actual property and room, while the listed child meal base is self-catering. Extra beds and three-adult rooms require a separate arrangement; do not infer them from the number of seats in a vehicle.

Use shoes with grip for cave, gorge and waterfall paths. Share wheelchair, pushchair and walking limits so the proposal can identify any unsuitable section. Heavy rain, fog, icing or a closure may change the available visitor route; agree an alternative and cost adjustment before a stop is replaced. No fixed seasonal colour or weather view is promised.

Longdongbao Airport is the listed included Guiyang airport pickup and drop-off. Send any railway or other pickup request for its own arrangement. Arrival-day city outings are independent, and the final night in Guiyang helps avoid forcing a flight after the Huangguoshu road return.

Plan your dates and onward travel

Send dates, party size, children’s ages, room preferences, large-case count, flight or train details, walking limits and language requirements through Plan My Trip. Include food allergies, halal requirements and prayer breaks. An ordinary hotel breakfast is not represented as halal-certified, and English guiding is a separate service to request.

Bring the original travel document matching hotel and admission bookings. Nationality and document type help arrange the appropriate registration; passport copies are not needed for the initial enquiry. Your proposal will state the selected hotels, pickup, return, tickets and other expenses. Price on request.

Explore Guiyang as the gateway, compare the Guizhou private tour collection and browse city and sightseeing journeys.

Plan the practical details

Use Guizhou itinerary and regional choices, Huangguoshu walking and cave reservations to match the route with your walking, hotel and transfer needs.

Daily Itinerary

Use the selected Longdongbao Airport transfer to the Guiyang hotel. Other pickup requests need their own arrangement. The rest of the day is independent time; meals, optional visits and free-time transport are separate.

After adult breakfast, visit Zhijin Cave on the open visitor route with the specified local transport. Allow for walking and steps through the cave setting. Continue to Liupanshui for the night; other meals are separate.

Have adult breakfast, visit Wumeng’s operating upland visitor area and continue to Wanfenglin for the limestone-hill landscape. Specified sightseeing transport is included. Stay in Xingyi; other meals, horse rides and unlisted activities are separate. Weather and seasonal views are not guaranteed.

After adult breakfast, visit Malinghe Gorge with the listed round-trip sightseeing elevator. Choose walks around the actual steps and your party’s pace, then travel to Anshun for the hotel night. Other meals are separate.

Have adult breakfast and visit the operating Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and main waterfall areas, using included Huangguoshu scenic buses. The planned Tianxingqiao route has substantial walking; discuss a shorter option before booking if needed. Return to Guiyang for the final night. Other meals and extra escalators or activities are separate.
