Overview
Add a Zhijin Cave touring day before Huangguoshu, Malinghe Gorge and Wanfenglin. This three-day private circuit from Guiyang has two hotel nights, in Anshun and Xingyi. It combines a cave, waterfall, gorge and limestone-hill setting, with a different overnight base after each touring day.
The base includes a private vehicle with a Chinese-speaking driver, two selected hotel nights and two adult breakfasts. Adult and child attraction admission and scenic transport are separate. That ticket scope is different from some other southwestern Guizhou programmes, so compare the written inclusions as well as the route names.
YOUR JOURNEY
Route Map
Follow the itinerary in travel order.
Route schematic; not to scale or for navigation. See the Daily Itinerary for individual visits, optional activities and access conditions.
The three touring days
| Day | Visits and transfer | Night |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Guiyang pickup; Zhijin Cave; continue to Anshun | Anshun |
| 2 | Huangguoshu; continue to Xingyi | Xingyi |
| 3 | Malinghe Gorge; Wanfenglin; return to Guiyang | Not included |
Choose the extra cave day for a different landscape
This route gives Zhijin its own touring stage before the southwestern journey. The shorter two-day Huangguoshu and Xingyi programme does not visit the cave and has different ticket inclusions. The extra day here is an actual cave visit and an Anshun night, rather than an arrival-only addition.
For a cave-and-waterfall short break without Xingyi, compare the two-day Huangguoshu and Zhijin route. For Wumeng Grassland as well, the six-day southwestern circuit has more stops and separate arrival and departure days.
Zhijin Cave before Anshun
Start at the agreed Guiyang pickup and travel to Zhijin Cave. The underground visitor route involves walking through chambers and along steps; a local transfer vehicle does not provide transport through every cave section. Discuss balance, stamina and accessibility needs before choosing this programme.

Admission and any specified local shuttle are outside this base. Have their costs and booking arrangement identified before travel. Continue to Anshun for the selected hotel rather than adding another unplanned attraction after the cave walk.
Huangguoshu before the Xingyi hotel
After adult breakfast, visit the operating Huangguoshu areas. The planned waterfall day includes Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and the main waterfall setting, fitted around the onward road journey to Xingyi. Admission, scenic buses and optional escalators need their own allowance.
Water Curtain Cave is subject to its own current entry arrangements and safe opening. It is not guaranteed by the route title or a main park ticket. Choose walking sections around wet paths, steps and the driving still ahead; the day is not devoted only to the main waterfall.
Malinghe Gorge and Wanfenglin
Use day three for Malinghe Gorge and Wanfenglin before the Guiyang return. Attraction tickets, scenic transport and the Malinghe elevator are separate from this vehicle-and-hotel base. Ask which of those services suits your party and should be booked in advance.
The gorge has paths and steps even when a sightseeing elevator is used. Wanfenglin offers a limestone-hill landscape, but no particular flower display, rice colour, clear view or farm activity is promised. A bicycle ride, boat excursion or extra viewpoint outing is not automatically included.
Leave time for the final road stage. If you want a full photography day among the fields or a longer Xingyi stay, request another night rather than adding it around a same-day departure from Guiyang.
What is included?
| Item | Included base | Separate costs |
|---|---|---|
| Road transport | Private vehicle and Chinese-speaking driver for the three-day route; agreed transfers | English guide, free-time use and additional detours |
| Rooms and food | Two selected hotel nights, Anshun then Xingyi; two adult breakfasts | Other meals, child meals, drinks and room supplements |
| Visits | The four main scenic visits form the route plan | Adult and child admission, local scenic transport, Malinghe elevator, escalators and additional activities |
Rooms, children and the return
The adult band begins at twelve, with a child band from two to under twelve. The usual child base shares an adult bed and excludes meals. One adult and one child need a different occupancy arrangement. This programme does not accept children under two; guests under eighteen need an adult companion.
Send room preferences, large luggage and walking limits before the proposal is fixed. Cave, gorge and waterfall paths are different walking environments, and a private vehicle does not make them all step-free. If weather or a closure affects the usable route, agree a suitable alternative and price change.
Do not buy a tight flight or train based on the sample road-return time. The actual day-three plan must leave room for visits, meals, traffic and the terminal margin. A final Guiyang hotel night can be arranged separately if you want more room around departure.
Request the route for your dates
Send dates, party size, children’s ages, twin or double room preferences, luggage count, arrival and departure details, walking limits and language requirements through Plan My Trip. Include halal dining, allergies and prayer breaks. An ordinary hotel breakfast is not represented as halal-certified; English guiding needs its own arrangement.
Bring the original document used for hotel and attraction bookings. Nationality and document type help arrange registration; a passport image is not required for the initial enquiry. Your proposal will identify the rooms, vehicle, meeting point, ticket scope and supplements. Price on request.
Explore Guiyang as the gateway, compare the Guizhou private tour collection and browse city and scenic journeys.
Plan the practical details
Use Guizhou itinerary and regional choices, Huangguoshu walking and cave reservations to match the route with your walking, hotel and transfer needs.
Daily Itinerary
