Choose the pace before fixing the day
This is a sightseeing outing, not a technical caving trip. Use the designated visitor route and follow the local operating instructions. The cave and canyon are separate places, rather than two names for one ticketed walk. Seeing both means sharing the available visiting time between them and allowing for the road journey from Guiyang.
If caves are your main interest, request more time there and discuss whether the canyon should be shortened or omitted. A shorter walking route or one main stop may suit some families better. The itinerary should be agreed before the vehicle and tickets are arranged; a private car does not guarantee immediate entry or remove walking inside the scenic areas.
Vehicle service and separate expenses
The base service provides an independent vehicle, a driver and the agreed Guiyang pickup and return. Vehicle size follows the passenger and luggage requirements in your request. Confirm the exact hotel address and city pickup boundary when asking for the trip. An airport or railway transfer is a separate request rather than an automatic addition.
Entrance tickets, scenic shuttles, lifts and other paid services depend on the selected attraction package. Have those items listed in the written proposal; do not assume the vehicle booking includes them. Meals, drinks, personal spending and a separate sightseeing guide are also outside the base vehicle service. English commentary is not included in the base vehicle service.
Walking and what to bring
Wear comfortable shoes with grip and keep your hands free for steps and uneven ground. Damp cave paths and outdoor canyon paths require care. Tell us about balance, knee, mobility or pushchair needs before booking, so the selected route can be discussed around the actual group. Do not assume step-free access throughout either attraction.
Carry a light layer, rain protection for outdoor sections, water and the original document used for tickets. Follow restrictions on photography and access inside the cave. The scenic photographs show destination scenery; they do not guarantee particular lighting or access on your travel date.

Visit Zhijin Cave along its open visitor route, then continue to Zhijin Grand Canyon when the agreed schedule and operating arrangements allow both visits. These are separate attractions, so arrange the entry, internal transport and meeting points for each. Return to Guiyang after the visits. No meal, hotel night or English-speaking guide is included in the base vehicle service.
