Overview
Spend the first day in Maotai Town and the second at Chishui Grand Waterfall, with one Chishui hotel night between them. This two-day private journey from Guiyang combines a river town and Long March memorial setting with a separate nature day. Choose it when northern Guizhou interests you more than adding another stop to the Libo and Xijiang circuit.
The base has a Chinese-speaking driver, private road transport, one hotel night, one adult breakfast and the listed adult attraction admission. Chishui Grand Waterfall sightseeing transport is included. English guiding, lunches, dinner and child attraction tickets are separate requests or expenses. Price on request.

Maotai Town: riverfront and history
Maotai is a town on the Chishui River in Renhuai. Its streets, riverfront, 1915 Square and Long March memorial area form the first day’s visits. This is time in a working town with a major spirits industry, so tell us before booking if that setting does not suit your party.
A walk in Maotai does not automatically include a tour inside the famous distillery, a branded factory appointment or a tasting. Keep any such request separate from this base programme. You can focus on the public town and memorial setting without purchasing alcohol. Access to an indoor exhibition or a replacement visit depends on its opening arrangements and the final booking.
The second road stage continues to Chishui for the hotel night. Staying there places you closer to the next morning’s waterfall visit than returning to Guiyang after the town. This is still a touring break with substantial road travel; it is not two full days at the waterfall.
Chishui Grand Waterfall and the return
The nature visit is Chishui Grand Waterfall, also known as Shizhangdong, in the Chishui Danxia visitor area. Follow the open visitor paths and use the included sightseeing transport where it operates. Sightseeing transport does not eliminate all walking or steps, and a separate lift or other extra activity is not promised by the base.
Leave time for the waterfall paths before the road return to Guiyang. The programme’s broad afternoon return stage should not be used as a guaranteed flight check-in time. Send your intended flight or train before buying it so the final drop-off can be fitted to the actual drive and visit. A further Guiyang night is an option to request if you want to avoid a tight same-day connection.

Pickup, luggage and booking documents
The listed Guiyang city pickup districts are Yunyan, Nanming, Huaxi, Baiyun, Wudang and Guanshanhu. Selected airport and rail points are Longdongbao Airport and Guiyang, Guiyang North, Guiyang East and Longdongbao stations. Send an exact hotel address or flight or train service; other locations require their own arrangement.
An airport pickup option does not make a late arrival compatible with the full first day. Starting from a Guiyang hotel after arriving the previous day usually leaves more usable visiting time. Tell us about separate arrival services within your party before choosing one meeting arrangement.
Send nationality, passport or other travel-document type and the names used for hotel and admission bookings. Carry the original document matching those bookings. Vehicle size depends on the number of travellers and luggage, so include the number of large suitcases as well as party size; a nominal seat count alone does not establish suitable luggage space.
Children, walking and food preferences
The listed adult band starts at twelve. The child band is from two to under twelve, with meals and attraction tickets separate. A child in the base shares an adult bed; one adult with one child requires a specific bed or room arrangement. Travellers under eighteen need an accompanying adult. Tell us about younger children and sleeping needs before choosing the route.
Discuss knee, balance, wheelchair or pushchair needs before booking. Waterfall spray, wet paths, slopes and steps affect the walking choice. Stay on the open visitor route, use shoes with grip and keep enough time to rejoin the driver without rushing. Heavy rain or a closure may require changes to the waterfall visit and road schedule; agree the available alternative and any cost adjustment before substituting it.
All lunches and the dinner are independent choices. Tell us about halal food, allergies and prayer breaks in advance. The included breakfast is not described as halal-certified, and Maotai’s spirits-industry setting is relevant when choosing the first day. English guiding and language support should be requested explicitly rather than inferred from private transport.

Daily Itinerary
Meet the Chinese-speaking driver at the agreed Guiyang point. Travel to Maotai for its public town setting, 1915 Square and Four Crossings of the Chishui memorial area. An inside distillery visit or tasting is not a guaranteed part of this programme.
Continue to the selected Chishui hotel for the included night. Lunch and dinner are separate. Keep the road stages in mind when choosing the first pickup time.
Adults have the included hotel breakfast; child meals are separate. Visit Chishui Grand Waterfall using the open paths and included sightseeing transport. Allow for steps and wet surfaces; any additional paid lift or activity is separate.
Return to the agreed Guiyang drop-off after the visit. The final departure service must fit the written return arrangement; do not choose a flight or train on the assumption of an exact road arrival time.
