Choose one substantial heritage outing, such as the old town or Xizhou, according to your base and interests. Keep time for lunch and avoid adding a full lake circuit. This is the cultural contrast before the tea counties, not a promise to cover every Dali attraction. Confirm the following road day’s departure and stops.

Dedicate the day to the road journey toward Fengqing with agreed meal and comfort stops. The exact route follows current conditions, and the hotel should be reached before an evening program is considered. Do not attach a fixed museum or factory slot to the same afternoon; a relaxed dinner is the useful default.

Spend the day with a booked tea host or cultural venue in the Fengqing area. Pair an introduction to the landscape with a tasting and a discussion of processing. Fresh-leaf handling depends on season and host permission. If production is inactive, use an honest demonstration or finished samples instead of presenting staged work as a live factory visit.

Continue to Lincang city and allow a lighter afternoon. This transfer separates the black-tea day from the next rural coffee outing. A city cafe can introduce local beans without requiring another lengthy drive. Review the next host’s access and any steps or uneven paths before deciding the field component.

Use one rural appointment in the Bangdong/Xigui area for the drink that interests you most. A coffee tasting, farm introduction and a separate tea visit have different availability and costs. Confirm the scope before travel and keep the return vehicle arranged. In poor weather, replace exposed walking with a sheltered tasting.

Transfer to the agreed Lincang departure hub. Keep the final morning free of rural visits so the trip does not end with an uncertain road connection. Share onward tickets before confirmation, including the station or terminal name, and retain the final pickup details offline.
