3-Day Chishui and Zunyi History Private Tour

Combine Chishui’s nature visits with a separate day for Zunyi and Xifeng history sites. This three-day private route starts and finishes in Guiyang, sleeping first in Chishui and then in Zunyi. It suits travellers who want forest-and-Danxia scenery as well as modern Chinese history, and who are comfortable changing hotels twice.

The base includes private transport with a Chinese-speaking driver, two hotel nights, two adult breakfasts, listed adult main admission and the specified Foguang Rock and Chishui Grand Waterfall sightseeing transport. A sightseeing guide and English interpretation are separate requests. Museum and memorial visits should be fitted to their opening and document arrangements for your dates.

Where the extra day changes the route

First day: red-rock scenery and an old town

Travel north from the agreed Guiyang pickup to Foguang Rock. The visitor route combines red sandstone scenery and forest; use the specified sightseeing transport where operating, with walking sections chosen around your party’s needs. Continue to Bing’an Ancient Town for its public streets and river setting before the Chishui hotel.

The evening is for settling in after a substantial road-and-walking day. Do not add a separate bamboo-sea park, a distant detour or a late dinner show on the assumption that they are included. Lunch and dinner are independent meals, and the hotel and room category will be stated in your dated proposal.

Second day: waterfall, then a different overnight base

After the included adult breakfast, visit Chishui Grand Waterfall, also known as Shizhangdong. Follow the open paths and allow time for steps, spray and photographs. The included sightseeing transport does not establish a step-free circuit; an extra lift or paid activity is separate unless added to the proposal.

Continue to Zunyi after the nature visit. This differs from the two-day Chishui break, which returns directly to Guiyang. Staying in Zunyi makes the third day’s history visits part of the route, rather than trying to squeeze them into the waterfall return drive.

Third day: Zunyi and Xifeng history

The Zunyi Conference Site focuses on the 1935 meeting and the Long March period. Xifeng’s memorial and former prison site concern imprisonment and resistance during wartime. They have different histories; allow time to read and reflect rather than treating them as interchangeable photo stops.

These visits can contain serious or distressing material. Tell us if children are joining, if anyone wants a shorter exhibition visit, or if detailed English historical interpretation is important. A Chinese-speaking driver provides road service, not a guided museum interpretation. Book the appropriate guide separately when that is central to your interest.

Send nationality and travel-document type before the visits are arranged, and carry the original matching document. Free admission does not remove a venue’s registration, reservation or opening requirements. Have the date and available visitor arrangement set out in the proposal; a replacement on a closed day changes the programme and needs agreement.

Arrival, final connection and luggage

The listed Guiyang pickup districts are Yunyan, Nanming, Huaxi, Baiyun, Wudang and Guanshanhu. Selected airport and rail points are Longdongbao Airport and Guiyang, Guiyang North, Guiyang East and Longdongbao stations. Send the exact hotel address or arrival service. Other pickup or drop-off points require a separate arrangement.

The first day has both a long road stage and two visits. Starting at a Guiyang hotel after arriving the previous day gives more usable sightseeing time than a late flight arrival. On the final day, choose an onward flight or train only after the road return has been fitted to it; a listed station transfer does not make every departure time suitable.

Two nights mean two different hotel bases. Pack so that each overnight stop does not require unloading every item, and send both passenger numbers and large-case count for vehicle planning. For a slower visit, request extra nights before booking rather than assuming the same three-day price or service allowance covers them.

Children and walking needs

The listed adult band begins at twelve, with a child band from two to under twelve. Child meals and attraction admission are separate; the child base shares an adult bed. One adult with one child requires a specific bed or room arrangement, and extra beds or triple rooms depend on the selected property. Tell us about younger children before choosing the programme. Travellers under eighteen need an accompanying adult.

Tell us about knee, balance, wheelchair or pushchair needs before booking. Scenic transport reduces some transfers but does not establish a step-free visit. Waterfall spray, steps, wet paths and old-town surfaces affect your walking pace. Carry shoes with grip and rain protection, and agree a shorter open path when necessary rather than rushing to finish every section.

Send the nationality, travel-document type and names needed for hotel and ticket handling; carry the original document matching the booking. Discuss halal meals, allergies and prayer breaks in advance. An included ordinary hotel breakfast is not represented as halal-certified. Other meals are independent choices along the agreed road stages.

Shorter break or arrival-day extension?

An arrival night in Guiyang before these three touring days and a final Guiyang night after them can create a five-day, four-night version. That changes the hotel, breakfast and transfer arrangement and needs its own written proposal. It is one route family, with the Chishui and Zunyi nights retained, rather than another sightseeing circuit.
