Overview
Combine Huangguoshu’s waterfall setting with Maotai’s riverside town and Chishui Grand Waterfall in three touring days. The two hotel nights are in Guiyang and Chishui: day one returns to Guiyang, day two travels north through Maotai, and day three returns after the Chishui visit.
The private base includes three dedicated vehicle days with a Chinese-speaking driver, two selected hotel nights, two adult breakfasts and listed adult main visits. The specified Huangguoshu and Chishui waterfall scenic buses are included. English interpretation, distillery access and private tasting activities are separate requests.

How this differs from the shorter northern route
The two-day Maotai and Chishui route starts with the northern road journey. This programme adds an actual Huangguoshu touring day and a Guiyang night before that journey. It is not simply an arrival day attached to the same two-day plan.
Choose this combination if two waterfall areas and the Maotai town setting interest you more than a village circuit. For red cliffs, Bingan and a different northern sightseeing sequence, compare the two-day Chishui Danxia route. This three-day programme does not include Foguang Rock or Bingan.
Huangguoshu and the Guiyang night
Visit the operating Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and main waterfall areas on day one, with listed adult admission and scenic buses. The internal bus journey and the walking paths serve different purposes; buses do not remove all steps and wet surfaces.
Water Curtain Cave entry depends on the park’s current booking and safety arrangements. An extra escalator or unlisted activity is separate. Return to the selected Guiyang hotel after the visit, with lunch, dinner and independent city transport outside the base.
Maotai is a public town visit
After adult breakfast, travel to Maotai for the public town setting, 1915 Square and the listed memorial area, then continue to Chishui. The town’s river, streets and historical setting provide the cultural focus of the day.
This itinerary does not promise factory admission, a production-line tour, an alcohol tasting, shopping benefits or a hosted business visit. A Chinese-speaking driver is not an English-speaking cultural guide. Request interpretation or a different activity before the proposal is fixed if that is central to your trip.
Chishui waterfall before the final road stage
Stay in Chishui after the Maotai day, then visit the operating Grand Waterfall visitor area the following morning. Adult main admission and the specified scenic bus are included. Footpaths and steps remain part of the waterfall visit, and a particular water flow or clear-weather view is not guaranteed.
Return to Guiyang by road after the visit. Keep the final transfer in mind when choosing walking sections and lunch arrangements. A sample afternoon departure from Chishui is not a guaranteed airport arrival in Guiyang.

Party, rooms and weather
The adult band starts at twelve, with a child band from two to under twelve. The usual child base shares an adult bed and excludes meals and attraction tickets. One adult and one child need a different occupancy arrangement. This particular programme does not accept children under two; travellers under eighteen need an adult companion.
Send large-case, pushchair, wheelchair, knee and balance needs before vehicle and room choices are made. Both waterfall days involve damp walking conditions, and the three-day route includes substantial road travel. If rain or closure affects a visit, agree the replacement and cost adjustment; no private access or unlisted activity is automatic.

Daily Itinerary
Meet in Guiyang and visit the open Huangguoshu areas with listed adult admission and scenic buses. Return to the selected Guiyang hotel. Meals, optional escalators and unlisted activities are separate; Water Curtain Cave entry is not guaranteed.
Have adult breakfast, visit Maotai’s public town areas, 1915 Square and the memorial setting, then continue to the Chishui hotel. Other meals, factory access, private tastings and English interpretation are separate.
After adult breakfast, visit the open Chishui Grand Waterfall area with listed adult admission and specified scenic bus. Return to Guiyang by road at the agreed time. Other meals and extra activities are separate; the road return must fit the actual departure connection.
