This four-day Kunming and Fuxian Lake retreat gives you a city arrival night followed by two nights near the lake. Daily Itinerary
Use the first afternoon for a compact Green Lake walk if your arrival allows, enjoying the paths, water and everyday city atmosphere. Sit over tea or choose an easy Yunnan-style dinner close to the hotel, with time left to unpack. Keep any outfit fitting close to this plan. A late arrival simply means resting in Kunming before the lake transfer; the route does not depend on reaching the lakeshore straight from a flight.
Arrive in Kunming and take your arranged transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an easy walk around Green Lake or simply rest. Use this evening to check the next day's luggage and discuss the confirmed session plan. If clothing rental is requested, its provider, fitting location and return arrangements should already be agreed rather than left to chance.

After breakfast, travel towards the chosen lake base and pause for lunch along the way or after arrival. Settle into the hotel before exploring a nearby permitted lakeside path. Keep the best available light window for your prearranged photography session, with changing time, refreshments and breaks built into the schedule.
