Overview

3-Day Pu’er Coffee Villages and Creative Workshops Tour: A slower coffee-and-creative stay, with one rural day and a choice of a booked craft or brewing session instead of a second full plantation circuit.

For mixed-interest couples or friends: one person may want coffee while another prefers village atmosphere or a creative activity. Workshops depend on the host calendar.

Travel illustrations show the style of the journey, rather than actual customers or a guaranteed venue.

Route and overnight plan

Day Main plan Overnight
1 Simao arrival and an easy cafe introduction Pu’er
2 A coffee-village day with one booked activity Pu’er
3 A final tasting or short creative session Departure

Make the experience fit your visit

Choose the estate first, then book the outward and return transfer. A rural drop-off is not a return reservation, and changing to a later shuttle depends on its operator and capacity.

Decide before booking What to specify
Experience depth Coffee drinking, guided tasting, a farm walk and a hands-on workshop are different bookings. Ask which one is quoted and in which language.
Walking and comfort Tell us about stairs, uneven paths, motion sickness, child seats and luggage. Ask the host about toilets and the nearest vehicle access.
Food and caffeine State allergies, vegetarian or halal requirements and caffeine limits. A local restaurant or tea host does not automatically meet a requested dietary standard.
If conditions change Use an indoor tasting if farm paths become unsuitable. Outside the harvest, compare processed beans and brewing instead of expecting cherry picking.

What the enquiry covers

This is a customizable private itinerary proposal. Named regions and suggested visits describe the route; the written quotation identifies the available hosts, accommodation and services for your dates. A driver, an English-speaking guide and a specialist producer are different roles. Ask which are included on each day. There is no fixed departure or guaranteed group size on this page.

Request a price breakdown for vehicle and driver, guiding or interpretation, rooms, meals, admission, tastings and workshops. Optional purchases are your choice. Travel insurance, flights, trains and transfers outside the agreed route must be addressed separately; no insurance cover is implied by an itinerary description.

Daily Itinerary

Arrive in Simao, settle into the hotel and choose a city cafe for an introduction to local coffee. Agree the next day’s priority and dietary needs over an unhurried meal. A late arrival keeps this as a rest evening. Bring a Chinese hotel address and an offline copy of the pickup point, especially if your phone has limited local data.

Overnight: Pu’er.

Plan a rural visit around an available host in the coffee-village area, such as Youfeng Coffee Valley when its program suits your dates. Public reporting describes creative activities here, but availability is confirmed individually. Choose one workshop and allow time for lunch rather than expecting every activity on arrival. The return vehicle and meeting point are fixed before leaving Simao.

Overnight: Pu’er.

Use the morning for a city tasting or a separately agreed short workshop, leaving room to collect luggage. Ask whether materials and take-home items are included and how long work needs to dry or cool. Finish in time for your confirmed station or airport transfer. Rural additions are best left out when your departure is early.

Overnight: Departure.
