Create a short romantic journey around Lijiang’s flowing waterways, tiled roofs and the mountain landscape beyond town. This Lijiang pre wedding photography tour reserves one day for preparation, one for your main session and a final morning for an easy farewell. Blue Moon Valley is the proposed outdoor setting, with Baisha or an approved town venue providing a different mood if access or weather requires a change.
The plan is designed for a couple commissioning photography as part of an individually arranged holiday. It is not a fixed studio package: crew availability, venue permissions, garments and image delivery must be confirmed in your quotation. Two Lijiang nights are suggested. Two nights in Lijiang create one clear base for fittings, a mountain-valley portrait day and relaxed old-town walks. Choose accommodation with convenient vehicle access if you are travelling with gowns or equipment, since many historic lanes require some walking.
The day-by-day programme below combines the destination visits with time for preparation, portraits and rest. Transfer estimates are planning allowances, not fixed arrival promises. Hotel categories, meals, guiding and photography services are itemised in your final quotation.

Daily Itinerary
Follow a gentle old-town route beside the canals and timber-fronted lanes, with a seated tea stop before dinner. Notice the stone bridges, water channels and roof textures that distinguish Lijiang from Dali's lakeside setting. Your guide can keep the introduction close to the hotel so you have time to unpack and try on your chosen outfits. The aim is to enjoy the town and understand its character before tomorrow's main photographic session.
Transfer from Lijiang airport or railway station to your selected accommodation. Allow time to settle in before a prebooked wardrobe fitting and discussion with the photographer or coordinator. Bring a few examples of the mood you like and choose a realistic number of looks; elaborate styling takes time away from outdoor shooting. Confirm whether your hotel has an appropriate preparation space and whether garment steaming, touch-ups and translation are covered. Later, explore a small part of Lijiang Old Town at an easy pace, following lanes and canals without trying to see every attraction. Its heritage character supplies a useful introduction to the destination. Old-town streets can involve steps and uneven paving, so bring comfortable shoes for walking between locations.

Travel and walking: Airport or station transfer usually about 30–60 minutes according to the hotel; uneven paving and steps on the optional walk.
Use the valley's blue water, forest edges and changing mountain backdrop for a compact portrait sequence, with short walking sections between approved points. Build a proper meal and a warm indoor or vehicle break into the day. On a shorter shoot, a relaxed Baisha tea stop can introduce quieter Naxi village lanes on the return journey; on a full production day, return directly to the hotel. Baisha remains a useful separate extension for couples who want more cultural sightseeing.
After makeup and dressing, travel towards the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. Schedule the main session only in currently open areas of Blue Moon Valley where commercial photography is permitted. Leave room for ticket checks, designated transport, walking and visitor traffic; scenery does not imply exclusive access. Mountain visibility and water appearance vary with light and weather. A notice dated 22 May 2026 announced temporary maintenance affecting downstream Tingtao Lake; check current access before finalising locations. This day does not include a high glacier cable-car ascent. If the chosen valley locations are unavailable, use a preapproved Baisha or town setting where feasible, with any revised fees agreed. Return to your hotel for a comfortable evening after the session.

Enjoy a final breakfast and an easy canal-side walk close to your accommodation. A later connection may allow a short visit to a quieter old-town lane or a prearranged craft stop; keep it local so garment returns and packing stay unhurried. For a longer stay, add Baisha's heritage streets or Yuhu's stone houses as a separate day. Those village visits provide a different experience from the valley without requiring another high mountain ascent.
Keep the morning flexible for breakfast and a short stroll near your accommodation. If you want formal old-town portraits as well as a valley session, arrange their duration and cost in advance; a second morning is not automatically covered by the first day's photography contract. Your photographer may offer an initial selection meeting, but edited files and albums follow the agreed delivery schedule after the trip. A late departure provides more room for a small weather adjustment, subject to the team and location remaining available. It cannot guarantee a replacement for an entire lost session. Finish with the airport or railway transfer listed in your quote. Couples who regard the mountain backdrop as essential should consider adding a reserve night before booking onward transport.
