A practical two-day structure
The two-day Datong route below uses Yungang and the old city as the first focus, with the second day shaped around the Hanging Temple area and the Wooden Pagoda. An arrival late in the first afternoon may require an extra night or a shorter programme. Have the proposal show the actual hotel-to-site journeys and decide which visit takes priority if access or timings change.
A temple-area visit, a climb through particular structures and a broader scenic outing are different experiences. State any difficulty with steps, confined passages or heights before the day is fixed. The fact that overseas visitors have visited a site does not establish every reservation method or every part of the site for your date.
Arrivals, luggage and onward journeys
