How This Differs from the 3-Day Option

Safety and Altitude
High-altitude trekking involves inherent risk. Disclose relevant medical conditions, medication and recent illness before booking, and seek personalised medical advice when appropriate. Headache, nausea, unusual fatigue, dizziness, breathing difficulty or poor coordination must be reported immediately. The guide’s turnaround decision is final. Bring broken-in hiking boots, warm and waterproof layers, gloves, spare socks, sun protection, personal medication, a daypack, power bank and spare headlamp batteries. Loan equipment and horse-supported luggage depend on the dated service confirmation; optional riding is not included unless stated.

Day 4 is a long mountain-and-road day. Chengdu arrival depend on availability and conditions because the group departs only after everyone has safely descended. Do not book a same-day onward flight or train. Current permits, entry rules, weather, seasonal trail conditions and local operating requirements will be reconfirmed close to departure. Daily Itinerary
Meet at the Chengdu assembly point shown in your final departure notice and drive west via the Dujiangyan, Yingxiu and Wolong corridor to Mount Siguniang Town at about 3,200 metres. Check in, rest and prepare equipment. The guide traveler feedback weather, trail conditions, required layers and the next morning's timing. Dinner is normally arranged; breakfast and lunch are not included unless confirmed otherwise.
