The Yamdrok outing involves a road journey through mountain scenery, so allow the whole day and keep the return evening flexible. Conditions at viewpoints can differ from Lhasa. Lhasa – Yamdrotso Lake — 5-Day Lhasa & Yamdrok Lake Group Tour
Yamdrok Lake is famous for its clear lakes, mountain reflections, and peaceful nature scenery.

Drive along an alternative route to reach the Lu Ri La view point at Yamdrok Lake. Enjoy the panoramic views of the lake with snow-capped mountains and scattered islands. Follow the lakeshore to appreciate diverse perspectives of Yamdrok Lake. Visit the isolated island monastery, Rituo Monastery, on the lake and savor lunch and coffee by the lakeside, experiencing a leisurely time on the lakeshore. Later, return to Lhasa via the Yamdrok Garbalang viewpoint.
