8-Day Yunnan Golf & Snow Mountain Journey
Overview
This signature private journey follows Yunnan from Kunming to Dali and Lijiang, with four memorable rounds placed around the region’s mountain and lake landscapes. The course sequence moves from Spring City’s lakeside and elevated terrain to Canghai beneath Cangshan Mountain, then concludes beneath Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Rail sectors, bag handling and a dedicated acclimatisation day are carefully placed so the route feels composed rather than rushed. Partners and friends can join a parallel companion program on golf days.
Daily Itinerary
Arrive at Kunming Changshui International Airport and transfer to Spring City Golf and Lake Resort. Golf bags are tagged by the ground team, and the evening is kept relaxed for the tour briefing.
Warm up before the Spring City Lake Course. The Robert Trent Jones Jr. layout uses lakeside wind, water and strategic angles for a round that rewards considered club selection.
Play the Spring City Mountain Course. Elevated tees, hillside lies and broad Yangzonghai Lake views create a very different test from the previous day.
Travel by first-class rail to Dali with coordinated bag handling. Settle into a premium resort near Cangshan and Erhai, then enjoy a Bai tea experience and an easy walk in Dali Old Town.
Play Canghai Golf Club, a Faldo-designed layout between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The afternoon remains free, while non-golfers can choose a private Dali companion program.
Follow a slower day around Erhai Lake and Xizhou before continuing by private vehicle to Lijiang. A gentle village walk and early rest prepare the group for the higher elevation ahead.
After an altitude briefing, play Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club. Conservative tee selection, hydration and a calm pace suit the high-altitude setting, followed by a farewell dinner.
Travel by first-class rail from Lijiang to Kunming, with assistance for bags and luggage. Meet the private vehicle at Kunming Railway Station for the final airport transfer.
