After breakfast, leave Zhonggu and return through the mountain road network to Chengdu. Keep the day flexible for traffic and weather rather than relying on an early-afternoon arrival. Lunch stops and rest breaks are arranged around the road conditions. A final Chengdu night is recommended before onward travel, giving the journey room for delays after the trekking stages.
