Quick Answer

3 days from Chuanzhusi back to Chuanzhusi. Long approach through Kakagou.

The route changes from long forested valley walking to a high pass and a separate excursion toward Hongxing’s rocky basin. Two camp nights keep you close to the mountain landscape. verotrip prepares the local transport, camp support and trail-food arrangements as a connected trek, with the pass and lake visits conditional on the ground conditions.

The approach is long, so keep food and rain protection accessible. Reach the Changhai camp in the afternoon and settle into tents, leaving time to organize the next day’s walking kit.
