Overview

Quick Answer

3 days from Chengdu back to Chengdu. Maoshui Village and a forested walk-in.

Approach Enmiu Peak from Maoshui Village on a journey that gives the walk-in and summit attempt separate days. The route passes through forest and pasture to Lianghekou camp, then rises into open mountain terrain. This small-scale camping journey has a quieter character than the better-known Siguniang approaches. verotrip confirms the current trail and camp arrangement with the local mountain team, including the exact summit objective and any changes to the approach.

Why Choose This Journey

  • Maoshui Village and a forested walk-in

Leave camp before dawn and follow the guide toward the selected Enmiu summit. The upper ascent is sustained and the descent continues beyond camp to the vehicle meeting point. After regrouping in Maoshui, collect stored luggage and return to Chengdu. Keep the evening flexible: mountain pace and traffic determine arrival, and an onward flight the same day is unsuitable.
