Daily Itinerary

Visit Shenyang Imperial Palace, Zhang Xueliang's former residence and Middle Street, with time to sample local cuisine and see the city's historic core.

Explore the Liaoning Provincial Museum before driving to Dandong. Walk the Yalu River waterfront, view the Broken Bridge and browse Andong Old Street.

Travel through Kuandian to the Hunjiang River Great Bend and nearby wetland scenery. Continue through forested border landscapes to Ji'an.

Follow the eastern border route to Tumen for river and gate views, then continue to Yanji. In the evening, browse the lively food streets near the university district.

Begin at Yanji's morning market, then travel to Fangchuan Scenic Area for broad borderland views. Continue through Hunchun to Suifenhe.

Travel east through Mishan and stop at Xingkai Lake for wide wetland, reed and water views. Continue to Hulin for the night.

Discover the Ussuri River landscape and learn about Hezhen fishing traditions through local cultural experiences. Continue along the forested border road to Raohe.

Visit Tongjiang's Sanjiangkou, then travel to China's far northeast for East Pole Square, Heixiazi Island wetlands and Fuyuan's local fish market.

Travel west through Heilongjiang's river and forest landscapes. After arrival in Hegang, take a relaxed walk beside Tianshui Lake.

Explore Wuying National Forest Park and the granite formations of Tangwang River Stone Forest. Continue through the forest country of Yichun.
