Overview

Quick Answer

3 days from Chengdu back to Chengdu. Separate approach and summit days.

Wengba combines a mountain approach, a night at C1 and a technical upper section into three focused days. The walk-in passes meadow, scree and glacial landforms before the terrain becomes steeper above camp. The programme includes time to practise with the climbing equipment before the attempt. verotrip confirms the route with the local mountain team and matches support to the objective, treating the upper section as climbing rather than a standard trekking excursion.

Why Choose This Journey

  • Separate approach and summit days
  • Technical practice at C1
  • A protected upper section above the mountain pass
