Daily Itinerary

Drive through the Wolong and Balang Mountain corridor toward Xiaojin and Siming Village. Stop for views near Maobiliang when conditions allow. At the local guesthouse, meet the mountain team, organize equipment and confirm how camp luggage will be carried. Dinner and the route briefing are followed by an early night before the walk-in.

Transfer to the approach and begin walking through forest, rhododendron country and open meadow. The trail rises toward the high camp through the Niupengzi area. Carry the items you need during the day; separately arranged pack transport does not mean riding is included. Reach camp with time to settle in, eat and go over the next morning’s plan.

Set out before daylight for the upper mountain, where scree, snow and the pass require careful movement. Continue only while the guide considers the conditions and party’s progress suitable. Descend to camp and then to the lower meeting point. Return to the village for luggage before driving to Chengdu, with a flexible arrival time and no onward connection planned that night.
