Travel from Lanzhou to Xiahe and visit Labrang Monastery according to the visiting arrangements available for the group. Your guide provides context for the monastery and surrounding town while keeping photography and access respectful. This combines a road transfer with walking at a higher elevation, so allow pauses and keep the first evening quiet.
Explore Sangke Grassland and the cultural stops arranged around Xiahe, keeping the walking manageable and leaving room for explanation of the local landscape. Seasonal conditions affect the grassland appearance and available activities. Any family or village-host visit must be confirmed, and photographs of people or religious spaces should be taken only with permission.
