Follow Northeast China’s great eastern arc from the Yalu River to the country’s far north. This in-depth private journey links mountain roads, Changbai’s volcanic scenery, wetlands near Hunchun and Fuyuan, Yichun’s forests, the Amur River landscapes of Heihe and the Arctic villages around Mohe.

Daily Itinerary

Arrive in Dandong and meet your private guide. Settle in, then enjoy a relaxed walk along the Yalu River promenade and view the historic steel bridge from the Chinese waterfront.

Leave Dandong along the mountain section of Highway 331. Pause for river-valley viewpoints and wooded landscapes around Hushan before continuing to Kuandian.
