Arrive in Harbin by flight or train and meet your local driver for a private transfer to the hotel. Settle in, then enjoy free time for a first look at Harbin’s winter atmosphere; Central Street, Saint Sophia Square and the former Middle East Railway Bridge are rewarding evening options.
Travel through the snowy countryside to Hengdaohezi, a heritage railway settlement with Russian-influenced architecture, the historic station and the preserved steam-locomotive depot. Continue to Yabuli for a guided ski experience on its prepared slopes, with time for the resort’s forest and winter scenery.
Follow the Yabuli–Snow Town road through frosted forest and rime-covered mountain scenery. Pause at the Yaxue service area and winter landscape gallery before arriving in China Snow Town, where the snow-capped cottages, Snow Rhyme Street and evening lanterns create the region’s classic winter-fairytale setting.
Enjoy an early Snow Town view and discover local winter traditions before returning to Harbin. Along the way, learn about northeastern ice-fishing culture and snow-country life. In season, finish with an evening visit to Harbin Ice and Snow World; the programme is adjusted if the festival is not open.
