Nihao! Welcome to Beijing, the capital city of China! Upon your arrival at the airport/train station in Beijing, the tour guide and driver will meet and greet you at the exit, and then escort you to the well-selected hotel in downtown Beijing. The rest of the day is free on your own so you can have a good rest for the jet lag or explore by yourself around your hotel. Arrival Ideas: Beijing is well connected by air and high speed rail. There are two airports - Beijing Daxing International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport operating many international and domestic airlines. Travelers can go to Beijing by air from most cities of China, like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xian, Guilin, Hangzhou, Kunming, Wuhan, Xiamen, Guiyang, Chongqing, and Lanzhou.

Today you will explore Beijing's imperial landmarks and royal gardens. Begin at Tian'anmen Square, then walk through the Forbidden City with your guide to learn about its palaces, courtyards and Ming-Qing history. Continue to Jingshan Park for a panoramic view over the Forbidden City before visiting the Summer Palace and its lakeside gardens.

This morning, drive about 1.5 to 2 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Ride the cable car and walk along the restored ramparts and Ming-era watchtowers, with time to choose a comfortable hiking distance. Return to central Beijing and stop for exterior views of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube before transferring back to the hotel.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, your driver will transfer you to Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport or the appropriate railway station for your onward journey.
