Daily Itinerary
Arrive in Chengdu for the opening stage of the Chengdu, Chongqing and Zhangjiajie route. Meet the airport or railway-station transfer, check in at the downtown hotel and leave the rest of the day free after the journey. The first guided program begins the next morning with Chengdu Panda Base, Sanxingdui Museum and Jinli before the trip continues east to Chongqing.
Visit Chengdu Panda Base early, when the pandas are generally more active, then continue to Sanxingdui Museum for its Bronze Age masks and ritual objects. Finish with an evening walk along Jinli Old Street if the museum timing allows.
Take the high-speed train from Chengdu to Chongqing and meet the local transfer after arrival. See the Liziba monorail viewpoint, Kuixing Building and Jiefangbei, then share a group hot-pot dinner before visiting Hongya Cave after dark.
Drive from Chongqing to Wulong and enter the Three Natural Bridges scenic area. Use the observation deck, sightseeing elevator and canyon trail to see the limestone arches, then return to Chongqing after the visit.
Transfer to the railway station and take the high-speed train from Chongqing to Zhangjiajie. Meet the local team after arrival, continue to the hotel and keep the remaining time free.
Enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and ascend to Yuanjiajie using the operating scenic transport, then continue to Tianzi Mountain. Expect steps, queues and weather-dependent visibility among the sandstone pillars.
Travel to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and cross the glass bridge if it is operating and included in the booking. Continue to Baofeng Lake for the selected boat section, then return to the hotel.
Visit Tianmen Mountain using the day's operating cable-car and shuttle route for Tianmen Cave and the glass walkway. After the mountain visit, transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport or railway station according to the confirmed departure.
