Overview
Begin with the lakes and terraces of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, then cross into western Sichuan for Mount Siguniang, Moshi Park, Yuzixi and Mugecuo. This six-day circuit links two contrasting mountain regions with five hotel nights. Scenic-area visits are independent, while a shared driver coordinates the road transfers and meeting points.

Before You Book
The local food experience listed below is included once; its timing is arranged with the group. All other meals are at your own expense. Scenic-area admission is included only for Mugecuo. All other admission, compulsory scenic buses, cableways, electric carts and local viewpoint transfers are additional.
These are full travel days with early departures and long mountain-road transfers. Arrive in Chengdu the day before departure and book onward flights or trains for the day after the tour. The departure point, meeting time and hotel areas are confirmed before travel. A joining day or extra Chengdu hotel night is not included.
Altitude and Walking
The route reaches high-altitude areas and can rise quickly from Chengdu. Discuss suitability and any additional acclimatisation nights with a qualified healthcare professional before booking. Do not ascend higher when you have altitude-illness symptoms; tell the driver and seek appropriate assistance. The driver does not provide mountain rescue or medical care. Carry warm layers, sun protection, sturdy footwear, water and personal medication.
Accommodation, Language and Group Arrangements
Hotels are arranged in the listed overnight areas, subject to availability, with twin rooms as the normal arrangement. Local hotel standards vary. This is a shared group with one seat per traveller; seats are not reserved in advance. Bring one manageable suitcase, preferably no larger than 24 inches, plus a small daypack.
The included service is driver accompaniment, without professional sightseeing commentary. English-language guiding can be requested and quoted separately before booking. Provide passport nationality, participant ages, mobility needs and any dietary requirements when enquiring so participation, accommodation and insurance eligibility can be checked.
Scenic-area access, road controls, weather and traffic may require a change in the sequence or an agreed alternative viewpoint. Clear mountain views, sunset colours and drone photography are not guaranteed. Review the written quotation, included services and cancellation terms before making payment.

Daily Itinerary
Meet the shared vehicle in Chengdu and visit either Dujiangyan’s irrigation heritage area or Panda Valley, with the selected option agreed before travel. Both are alternatives, not two guaranteed visits in one morning. Continue north through the Min River corridor to Songpan for a short stop when conditions allow, then reach the Jiuzhaigou entrance area. Tickets for the selected morning attraction are additional. Check the next morning’s meeting time with the driver.
Overnight: Jiuzhaigou entrance area

Set aside a full day, usually about eight hours, for Jiuzhaigou’s open valleys. Combine the park buses with walks on designated boardwalks, choosing stops around the lake, forest and waterfall scenery. The driver remains outside the scenic area, so agree the meeting time before entering and keep track of the last bus. Admission and park transport are additional. Return to the same hotel area after the visit.

Leave early for Huanglong and allow about four hours for the open travertine-pool routes. Cableway operation depends on the season and weather, with admission, cableways and internal transfers paid separately. Choose a realistic walk for the altitude and time available. After the visit, continue south to the Dujiangyan or Chengdu area for the transition night. Confirm the next morning’s departure point before settling in, as the western Sichuan section begins the following day.

Start the western Sichuan section with the road journey toward Mount Siguniang. Visit Shuangqiao Valley for around four hours, using scenic buses to connect forest, streams and meadow walks below the surrounding mountain walls. The visit remains in the scenic area rather than climbing a summit. Admission and the park bus are additional. Continue toward Danba for the night, with the route and departure time adjusted to the previous night’s confirmed hotel location.

Travel from Danba toward the Yala Mountain viewpoint, then visit Moshi Park’s dark rock formations. Continue past the open meadows and streams around Gunong Village and the Tagong area before heading to Yuzixi. The day combines short walks with substantial driving, and the order may change to suit access and daylight. Mountain views and sunset colours depend on visibility. Admission, scenic shuttles and local viewpoint transfers are additional. Finish in Xinduqiao.
Overnight: Xinduqiao

Travel along the permitted airport-road route, pausing at Honghaizi if conditions allow, then visit Mugecuo, also known as Kangding Love Song Scenic Area. Its open visitor routes connect forest, lakes and mountain scenery; use the required scenic bus, which is paid separately. Keep walks within a comfortable altitude range and return to the meeting point on time. Continue through Kangding toward Chengdu, normally arriving in the evening. Leave onward flights or trains until the following day.

Shared road transport
A seat in the vehicle arranged for the 2–8-person group, covering the planned road route. Vehicle make and model are not guaranteed.
Accommodation
5 hotel nights in the overnight areas shown, normally in shared twin rooms. A single supplement applies if a matching room share cannot be arranged. The final hotel list and chosen comfort level are confirmed in the quotation; no star rating is implied.
Driver accompaniment
The driver coordinates transfers and meeting points. Professional sightseeing guiding and English-language guiding are not included; the driver does not enter scenic areas with the group.
Group essentials
One portable oxygen canister and a neck-pillow, earplug and eye-mask set. These are comfort supplies and do not replace an altitude plan or medical treatment.
Basic accident policy
Basic group accident cover is subject to the insurer’s eligibility rules and policy terms, which must be checked before booking. Horse riding and motorcycling are outside the supplied policy’s stated cover. Arrange suitable personal insurance for your nationality, altitude and chosen activities.
