Overview
Travel farther across the Ganzi plateau to Genyen and Batang before returning through Cuopugou, Litang and Lenggacuo. This six-day scenic-road circuit includes remote villages, high passes and long days in the vehicle. It is not the Genyen trekking circuit. The Lenggacuo excursion uses the B line and returns to Xinduqiao for the final night.

Before You Book
The local food experience listed below is included once; its timing is arranged with the group. All other meals are at your own expense. All scenic-area admission, compulsory scenic buses, cableways, electric carts and local viewpoint transfers are additional.
These are full travel days with early departures and long mountain-road transfers. Arrive in Chengdu the day before departure and book onward flights or trains for the day after the tour. The departure point, meeting time and hotel areas are confirmed before travel. A joining day or extra Chengdu hotel night is not included.
Altitude and Walking
The route reaches high-altitude areas and can rise quickly from Chengdu. Discuss suitability and any additional acclimatisation nights with a qualified healthcare professional before booking. Do not ascend higher when you have altitude-illness symptoms; tell the driver and seek appropriate assistance. The driver does not provide mountain rescue or medical care. Carry warm layers, sun protection, sturdy footwear, water and personal medication.
Lenggacuo is reached by the B-line approach from Shangchijixi Village, with an additional locally paid uphill transfer followed by a short walk. The overnight after Lenggacuo is Xinduqiao. This remote outing has rough access and limited facilities; lake access and clear reflections depend on weather and local controls. Zimei Pass is not a guaranteed visit.
Accommodation, Language and Group Arrangements
Hotels are arranged in the listed overnight areas, subject to availability, with twin rooms as the normal arrangement. Local hotel standards vary. This is a shared group with one seat per traveller; seats are not reserved in advance. Bring one manageable suitcase, preferably no larger than 24 inches, plus a small daypack.
The included service is driver accompaniment, without professional sightseeing commentary. English-language guiding can be requested and quoted separately before booking. Provide passport nationality, participant ages, mobility needs and any dietary requirements when enquiring so participation, accommodation and insurance eligibility can be checked.
Scenic-area access, road controls, weather and traffic may require a change in the sequence or an agreed alternative viewpoint. Clear mountain views, sunset colours and drone photography are not guaranteed. Review the written quotation, included services and cancellation terms before making payment.

Daily Itinerary

Leave the agreed Chengdu meeting point early and travel through Kangding to the plateau. Make short photo stops at Honghaizi and Sidingcuo before continuing to Yuzixi. From the viewpoint, look toward the surrounding snow ranges if visibility allows; sunset colours are never guaranteed. Local viewpoint transfers and cleaning fees are paid separately. If Yuzixi is inaccessible, the group agrees an available alternative viewpoint before continuing to the hotel.
Overnight: Xinduqiao
Meals: Meals at your own expense, except the included local food experience on its scheduled day.

Travel through the Tianlu Eighteen Bends area and Litang before heading toward Genyen’s villages and mountain scenery. The route passes Tiejing Mountain and a wild-hot-spring area, with distant views of the Genyen peaks when the weather clears. Visit the Genyen Eye viewpoint where access permits; a hot-spring bathing service is not included. The overnight village or Litang hotel is arranged according to local conditions and availability. Expect rough sections and limited roadside services.
Overnight: Ranrika, Genyen Town, Rige Village or Litang
Meals: Meals at your own expense, except the included local food experience on its scheduled day.

Continue through the Genyen landscape, with stops around New Lenggu Monastery and the Hupiba meadow area when open. The road route passes the Zeba and Gemu village areas, high passes and the twin-peak landscape toward Batang. Flower fields are seasonal, and remote-road conditions may require changes to the order or available stops. This is a long scenic driving day rather than an organised trek. Respect local religious spaces and remain on permitted visitor routes.
Overnight: Batang
Meals: Meals at your own expense, except the included local food experience on its scheduled day.

Visit Cuopugou for its lake, forest and mountain setting, using the open scenic-area routes and any required separately paid transport. Continue along the plateau road past Haizi Mountain’s Sister Lakes and the Maoya grassland corridor toward Litang. Stops depend on safe access and the time available after the scenic-area visit. This is another substantial driving day; reach accommodation in Yajiang or Xinduqiao, with the overnight town confirmed before travel.
Overnight: Yajiang or Xinduqiao
Meals: Meals at your own expense, except the included local food experience on its scheduled day.

Visit either Moon Lake or Quanhuatan, with one selected according to access and the day’s conditions. Continue toward Lenggacuo using the B-line approach from Shangchijixi Village. The local uphill transfer is an additional expense, followed by a short walk to the lake; do not treat this as an easy low-altitude outing. Look for reflections of Gongga when the water and weather are calm, then descend and return to Xinduqiao for the second night.
Overnight: Xinduqiao
Meals: Meals at your own expense, except the included local food experience on its scheduled day.

After breakfast at your own expense, begin the journey back through Kangding. An additional local mountain viewpoint may be offered only if access, timing and the whole group allow; it is optional and any extra transfer is paid locally. Zimei Pass is not a guaranteed visit. Return to a Chengdu metro meeting point around the Third Ring Road, normally in the evening. Keep onward flights and trains for the following day because road delays can be substantial.
Overnight: No hotel included after the tour
Meals: Meals at your own expense, except the included local food experience on its scheduled day.
