Overview
See five contrasting mountain destinations in northern Sichuan: Bipenggou, Dagu Glacier, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and Mount Siguniang. Four hotel nights connect the circuit from Chengdu, including a full day inside Jiuzhaigou. This is a full sightseeing schedule with high-altitude visits, early starts and separately paid scenic-area admission and internal transport.

Before You Book
The local food experience listed below is included once; its timing is arranged with the group. All other meals are at your own expense. All scenic-area admission, compulsory scenic buses, cableways, electric carts and local viewpoint transfers are additional.
These are full travel days with early departures and long mountain-road transfers. Arrive in Chengdu the day before departure and book onward flights or trains for the day after the tour. The departure point, meeting time and hotel areas are confirmed before travel. A joining day or extra Chengdu hotel night is not included.
Altitude and Walking
The route reaches high-altitude areas and can rise quickly from Chengdu. Discuss suitability and any additional acclimatisation nights with a qualified healthcare professional before booking. Do not ascend higher when you have altitude-illness symptoms; tell the driver and seek appropriate assistance. The driver does not provide mountain rescue or medical care. Carry warm layers, sun protection, sturdy footwear, water and personal medication.
Dagu Glacier’s upper viewpoint is reached by cableway at very high altitude. Cableway operation, snow cover and clear views depend on conditions; admission, the compulsory scenic bus and cableway charges are excluded.
Accommodation, Language and Group Arrangements
Hotels are arranged in the listed overnight areas, subject to availability, with twin rooms as the normal arrangement. Local hotel standards vary. This is a shared group with one seat per traveller; seats are not reserved in advance. Bring one manageable suitcase, preferably no larger than 24 inches, plus a small daypack.
The included service is driver accompaniment, without professional sightseeing commentary. English-language guiding can be requested and quoted separately before booking. Provide passport nationality, participant ages, mobility needs and any dietary requirements when enquiring so participation, accommodation and insurance eligibility can be checked.
Scenic-area access, road controls, weather and traffic may require a change in the sequence or an agreed alternative viewpoint. Clear mountain views, sunset colours and drone photography are not guaranteed. Review the written quotation, included services and cancellation terms before making payment.

Daily Itinerary
Depart Chengdu early and follow the Min River corridor toward Bipenggou. Allow roughly four hours inside the scenic area, using the required park transport and open walking paths to explore forest, streams and mountain views. Autumn colour and snow cover vary with the season. Admission and internal transport are paid separately. Rejoin the vehicle at the agreed time and continue toward Heishui or Yangrong Hade for the first night.

Travel to Dagu Glacier for a visit of about four hours. The scenic bus and cableway are part of the usual visit but their charges are excluded from the tour price. The upper viewpoint is at very high altitude: move slowly, assess how you feel and return lower if necessary. Continue past Songpan, with a short stop at the historic town when time permits, then drive to accommodation in the Jiuzhaigou or Chuanzhusi area.
Overnight: Jiuzhaigou or Chuanzhusi area

Set aside a full day, usually about eight hours, for Jiuzhaigou’s open valleys. Combine the park buses with walks on designated boardwalks, choosing stops around the lake, forest and waterfall scenery. The driver remains outside the scenic area, so agree the meeting time before entering and keep track of the last bus. Admission and park transport are additional. Return to the same hotel area after the visit.
Overnight: Jiuzhaigou entrance area

Travel to Huanglong for approximately four hours among its open travertine-pool paths. The visit involves altitude and steps, so choose a comfortable route and do not rush to reach the highest pools. Scenic buses, cableway rides and admission are additional, with operation dependent on weather and season. Continue south after the visit toward Wenchuan or Dujiangyan for the night, ready for the next day’s crossing into the Mount Siguniang region.
Overnight: Wenchuan or Dujiangyan

Reach Shuangqiao Valley in the Mount Siguniang region and spend about four hours using the scenic bus and open walking paths. Look for the contrast between forest, meadows and steep mountain walls; this visit stays within the scenic area and does not include climbing. Admission and the scenic bus are paid separately. Return to Chengdu after the visit for an evening metro drop-off, keeping onward flights or trains until the next day.

A seat in the vehicle arranged for the 2–8-person group, covering the planned road route. Vehicle make and model are not guaranteed.
Accommodation
4 hotel nights in the overnight areas shown, normally in shared twin rooms. A single supplement applies if a matching room share cannot be arranged. The final hotel list and chosen comfort level are confirmed in the quotation; no star rating is implied.
Driver accompaniment
The driver coordinates transfers and meeting points. Professional sightseeing guiding and English-language guiding are not included; the driver does not enter scenic areas with the group.
Group essentials
One portable oxygen canister and a neck-pillow, earplug and eye-mask set. These are comfort supplies and do not replace an altitude plan or medical treatment.
Basic accident policy
Basic group accident cover is subject to the insurer’s eligibility rules and policy terms, which must be checked before booking. Horse riding and motorcycling are outside the supplied policy’s stated cover. Arrange suitable personal insurance for your nationality, altitude and chosen activities.
