Travel Arrangements
Arrive in Chengdu before the rail departure day. Reach the station in good time with the passport used for booking. Your assigned station can differ between outbound and return journeys. Do not assume a particular train, carriage or adjacent seats until tickets are confirmed.
Accommodation and Meals
Hotel rooms normally accommodate two adults. Choose the accommodation option before booking; a single supplement applies for sole use or when a suitable room share cannot be arranged. The final hotel list and room arrangement are set out in your quotation. Accommodation categories are not a promise of a particular official star rating. Meals follow the daily plan and the included-service list below.
Guiding and Language
The driver handles transport coordination and basic assistance, rather than continuous professional sightseeing guiding. Any local leader or interpretation session specifically included below has its own service scope. English-language service is not included by default. Request it in advance for a separate availability check and quotation; a separately arranged group may be required.
Walking and Altitude
Jiuzhaigou combines shuttle rides with boardwalk walking. Huanglong is a higher-altitude outing with steps and sloping trails; an uphill cableway does not remove the walking or altitude exposure.
Discuss the altitude and walking with a qualified healthcare professional before booking. Do not continue higher when altitude-illness symptoms occur; tell the driver and seek appropriate assistance. Portable oxygen supplies or hotel oxygen facilities do not replace preparation or medical care.
Experiences, Access and Conditions
The village ride is a short locally led activity, not an independent riding excursion. Follow the handler’s instructions and discuss suitability before joining. The Jiuzhaigou leader service is distinct from full-time English guiding.
Scenic-area admission, compulsory shuttles and optional local transport are additional unless expressly included. Reserve applicable timed-entry tickets for the agreed dates using the appropriate passport details. Opening, road controls, weather and operator schedules may change the sequence or require an agreed alternative. Confirm the dated inclusions, participant eligibility and cancellation terms before payment.

Daily Itinerary
Make your own way to Chengdu East Railway Station for the booked train. Meet the driver at the assigned Huanglongjiuzhai, Songpan or Huangshengguan station and continue to Zhongcha Valley. Walk through the Tibetan village landscape and join the included led horse ride of about 20 minutes if the local operation and your suitability allow. Transfer to the Jiuzhaigou entrance area for the first night. Your train and station determine the final meeting time.

After breakfast, transfer to Jiuzhaigou for a full sightseeing day. A local leader accompanies the group for approximately six to eight hours, helping connect the main lake and waterfall areas by shared park shuttles and boardwalks. The day may include Long Lake, Five Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal and the Shuzheng area, according to park routing and conditions. This remains a walking day rather than a promise to see every stop. Return to the same hotel area.

Leave early for Huanglong and allow roughly three to four hours for the available pool trails. A separately paid uphill cableway can reduce the initial climb, but walking at altitude is still required. Choose an appropriate route and return before the agreed station transfer. Continue to the booked railway station for your included train to Chengdu. Train times vary; keep your final evening flexible and arrange any onward flight or train for the following day.

Return rail travel
Return rail tickets between Chengdu and the assigned Huanglongjiuzhai, Songpan or Huangshengguan station. The station, service and seat arrangements follow the tickets secured for the departure. Travel from your hotel to Chengdu East is not included.
Local transport and driver
Shared local road transport for the described itinerary, including fuel, tolls, parking and driver service. The driver provides coordination and basic assistance, rather than continuous professional guiding inside paid scenic areas.

Jiuzhaigou leader and village experience
