Terracotta Warriors & Huaqing Palace with an Optional Evening Show
Overview
Stay on Xi’an’s eastern side for a day connecting the Terracotta Warriors with Huaqing Palace. On dates when the required performance is operating and seats are available, Song of Everlasting Sorrow can extend the visit into the evening. The daytime archaeology-and-palace route remains the main itinerary; the show is a separate dated choice with a later return.

Your route at a glance
| Part | Plan | Overnight |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Xi’an → Terracotta Warriors → Huaqing Palace → optional confirmed show → Xi’an | No hotel night |
What makes this route work
The museum pits and the separate Lishan Garden mausoleum park are not one continuous room. Decide whether to include the latter before also adding Huaqing. Protect a seated meal break and a place to wait before an evening performance. Palace admission, a mountain cableway and the show should be identified separately in the confirmation.

Choose the pace and optional elements
Song of Everlasting Sorrow is the outdoor production at Huaqing, distinct from an indoor Tang dinner show in central Xi’an. Performance seasons, times and weather decisions change. If no suitable performance is confirmed, finish after the palace visit rather than replacing it silently with a different show.
Meeting, meals and the service agreement
| Item | Planning basis |
|---|---|
| Start and finish | Xi’an → Xi’an. The written plan names the actual meeting and final drop-off points. |
| Duration and nights | 1 Day. 0 hotel nights between the touring days; accommodation is included only when specified in the confirmation. |
| Meals and dietary requirements | Meal stops follow the route. The restaurant, dietary standard and any included meal are specified separately; photographs do not establish a kitchen’s preparation practices. |
| Guiding and transport | Guide language, vehicle or shared arrangement, intercity tickets, internal shuttles and admissions are identified individually in the dated proposal. |
Use this as a route for a date-specific proposal. Tell us your dates, party size, luggage, walking needs and food requirements before services are selected. Only the services specified in the written confirmation form part of the arrangement. Personal travel insurance, immigration requirements and independent travel to or from the route need their own arrangements.

Daily Itinerary
Xi’an → Terracotta Warriors → Huaqing Palace → optional confirmed show → Xi’an
Visit the Terracotta Warriors first, leaving the principal excavation halls as the priority. A separate mausoleum-park visit is only retained when the chosen entry and pace leave enough time. Continue to Huaqing Palace for its imperial hot-spring and palace setting, following the areas open on the day. With a confirmed evening show, take a meal and rest break before returning to the correct performance entrance. Without it, return to Xi’an after the daytime visit. A late show means a later hotel return, so keep the next morning’s plans proportionate.
Stay: No hotel night. Meals: as specified in the dated itinerary; a meal stop in this outline is not an automatic meal inclusion.
